Co-Founder
Karina Rico-Arango is a Director of Nursing committed to developing confident, empowered nurses and leaders who deliver exceptional care. With expertise in critical care, oncology, infection prevention, operational excellence, and professional development, she has led initiatives that improve patient outcomes, reduce nurse turnover, and strengthen team performance.
Karina has standardized nursing practices, built strong cultures across units and systems, optimized processes for efficiency and sustainability, and mentored both frontline nurses and leaders in creating inclusive, high-performing environments. She has also contributed to clinical research, infection control initiatives, and quality improvement projects that elevate care delivery and support multidisciplinary collaboration.
Driven by a deep belief that nurses deserve to feel supported, valued, and empowered, Karina co-founded RN Hive™ — a community where nurses and nursing leaders can grow, connect, and lead without sacrificing wellbeing. She is committed to creating healthcare environments where every nurse can thrive personally and professionally.

Laura Wilkinson is a Director of Nursing dedicated to developing confident, empowered nurses who deliver exceptional care. With expertise in critical care, rapid response, professional development, patient safety, and language access, she has led systemwide improvements that elevate the nursing profession.
Laura has standardized dialysis services, strengthened interpreter access workflows, improved patient throughput, and co-authored research decreasing pressure ulcer incidence in critical care. She also coaches leaders in building strong cultures and consistent standards of practice across clinical teams.
